…On Kicking Ass.

I’m sitting here naked, eating gummiworms and listening to a med-hard rock playlist, and I come to a conclusion. I. Kick. Ass. Not only that, but I kick ass AT kicking ass.

Why

Does I have a blog?

Other natrual flavors

I’m like the opposite of your typical Indie music person…I like talented musicians and when I find a good, non-main stream band, I try to share it wit the world instead of keeping them my little moronic secret.

The Gauntlet.

It’s almost over.

I know, I know…

i’ll post something note worthy here soon. Promise.

..And Roll Out!

I feel strange to me to drive another’s vehicle. I used to think that it was the situations around which I am driving another car was the reason for this feeling, but today I concluded it is the act itself. Someones car is an extension of their personality.

It’s hard to describe how i really feel, the best I can do is compare it. It’s like the episode of Transformer where Optimus gets his ass kicked, and Huffer has to pull the bigguys trailer…or when Daisy has to drive the General Lee…It’s just weird.

I’m just gunna end this one here..I really don’t know how to voice this one…

Bad Influence

I’ll start this rant with an upbeat.
I was happy to see a older lady today actually USE the ESRB ratings and descriptions to help in her decision on what game to let her granddaughter play! This is only the SECOND cocking time since I started at The Shop that this has happened. Go old lady, go!

Now back to your regular scheduled ravings.
I over heard two mothers talking about Mother A’s child’s music preferences. This consisted of ‘grungy-punk and metal and other loud bands’. Mother B was almost demanding that Mother A goes through her sons cds, trashing all with a Parental Advisory sticker on the cover. This was not nearly as frustrating as her (il)logic behind it.
“They put them labels on bands who do drugs, cus, drink, and sodomize women. You don’t want him doing that do!”

[I can’t make this up…]

I quit listening here, in fear if i heard the next line, I might go rabid and behead Mother B.

I know some (the minority) emulate their favorite musicians, but most people have COMMON SENSE.

If this was the norm, then I would be an overdramatic, potsmoking, vegan Finn.

Overdramatic…no.
Pot smoking…really..?
Vegan…HA!
Finn…um…no.

I have no issue with people filtering content that their child listens to, but for the love of dog,

BE RESPONSIBLE RESPONSIBLY!!!

Don’t filter out what you don’t understand. take 10 minutes to figure it out, the judge accordingly.

Note to self

Make a freaking list of music stuff to save up for. and SAVE THE FREAKING MONEY!!!

You know you’re a musician when #520

You are almost late for your day job because you had to unbolt a seat from your car to haul the amps for tonights jam session..
